GPSMapEdit is an application designed for creating GPS maps in different proprietary cartographic formats: Garmin MapSource, Polish format (input files for the software cGPSmapper.
exe), Lowrance MapCreate, ALAN Map 500/600, Holux MapShow, Navitel Navigator (navigation application for mobile phone devices like iPhone, Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile), and other custom POIs and speedcams for Gamin POI Loader, TomTom OV2, Nav N Go iGO, and Navitel Navigator.
GPSMapEdit has some graphic limitations: the full graphics functionality is only available in Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Other operating system versions limit the full capacity of this software.
Also, there are photo limitations for this software too. When taking photos, cameras used must be supported by Microsoft DirectShow and images are captured only in the resolution of the current video stream.
The photo taking option is disabled under Windows 98 and Windows 2000. GPSMapEdit is available in multiple languages including English, French, German, Polish, Russian, and more.
